In all of us there is a teacher. We may each specialize in different life disciplines but it is in this diversity that we offer our children the opportunity to prosper and grow.

I attended Francis Marion University and earned state certification in Elementary Education, Special Education, Reading and Early Childhood Education. I received my Doctorate of Education from the University of Phoenix in 2010 where I examined the impact of parental involvement on the success of students at-risk of not graduating from high school.

I have worked with children and youth for 25 years. I have 8 years of classroom teaching experience and I been tutoring since 2006 as a private instructor.

I love music of all genres, literature, and history. I am currently writing a play and am attending a play writer’s forum. I also like to write short stories.
