I believe that every child can learn; it just takes a special individual to tap into those skills that are there. Every child can learn with exposure and a dedicated teacher who cares.

I recently received my Masters of Science in Early Childhood Education from the Grand Canyon University. Prior to that, I received an MS in education from Ashford University in 2013 and a Bachelors in Speech Pathology from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University in 2007.

I have 7 years in Speech Language Pathology as an Assistant serving students in the classroom and in small group sessions. I have worked with students aged 3-21. I completed my student teaching experience in Pre-K and in a 2nd grade classroom. I have also tutored in the past.

I enjoy a lot of activities. I mostly enjoy sports, traveling, music, web surfing, food and crafts. One of my favorite sites is Pinterest, because it includes a large variety of materials to use for students as well as utilizing materials that you have in your home.
