EDUCATIONAL PHILOSOPHY
Inclusiveness: I believe the classroom should be a place where all students can feel like a valued contributing member of the learning community.
Mentorship: I believe all students need multiple positive adult mentors to guide them through the tumultuous sea of adolescence.
Varied experiences: Students should be exposed to a number of new experiences throughout their lives. New experiences foster growth and success.
Inspire curiosity: My ultimate goal as an educator is to inspire students to be lifelong learners – education should not end at graduation.
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND
I attended the University of Winnipeg and received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English with a minor Theatre. I also received a Bachelor of Education Degree. I am certified to teach in the province of Manitoba.
TEACHING EXPERIENCE
I have experience teaching the classroom since 2013.
EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
I enjoy working with computers: Web design, graphic arts, video and electronic music composition.
