I believe every child has the ability to learn, just at different paces or through a different strategies. Each child is different and needs to have the material taught to them in a way that caters to their needs. I think every child can reach their goals in life as long as they work hard and I’d love to be a part of helping them reach their full potential.

I went to WVU for 5 years and received my bachelors degree in mathematics and my masters degree in education. I student taught in a masters program for 3 years, which helped give me plenty of teaching experience before I went out into the work force.

I taught 3 years in West Virginia grades 9-12. I have taught Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Algebra II, and tutored in Calculus. I have taught a variety of students with skills ranging from very low to very high. I am very capable of helping every child understand mathematics better than they did before they met me!

I tutored on weekends in my previous job with students that were preparing for their math portion on SAT and ACT tests. I have tutored college students online with calculus to help them pass. I used to be a cross country coach and math coach at my previous high school.
