Being a teacher is not always about standing in front of a class and teaching. It’s about being a guide, a role model, and a cheerleader, as well as an educator. It’s about making your class feel that they can ask a question and not be embarrassed, and showing them that there’s no such thing as a stupid question.

I have an undergraduate degree in English and have one class to complete for my Masters of Science in Education in English. I have been teaching for 9 years. I have taught SAT, PSAT, English, and Literacy.

I was the Freshman homecoming sponsor for homecoming activities. We built a float and presented it at homecoming. I was also the facilitator of the Strings Club. This club allowed students of string instruments to gather and collaborate.
