My teaching philosophy is based on nurturing and developing the potential of all students through meaningful learning experiences through inquiry, technology, and experimentation. I will be able to guide, facilitate, and collaborate within a vibrant learning environment with students. I look forward to providing students with an education that is both inclusive and dynamic.

I received a Bachelor’s of Arts Degree from Brock University in Geography and minoring in English Literature. I also have a Bachelor’s of Education Degree for junior/ intermediate Social Studies. I also have a certification for Geospatial Management.

Throughout my various teaching experiences I have learned how important this profession is towards shaping the futures of the students’ lives. I started teaching as an International Language Instructor (Polish) with a local school board, which I have done for 10 years now. Since then, I have taught in many capacities in the classroom and continue to enjoy my work with my students.

I enjoy activities that assist in the preservation of our natural environment (such as Earth Day, Me to We events, Shoreline Cleanups, etc). I have also been apart of a homework club and tutor group.
