I feel students should have the ability to learn the necessary information but still have choices in how that education can be obtained. I have always been open to what moves children to work at their best potential.

I attended Western Carolina University for my undergraduate work in Early Childhood Education. My Master’s Degree was obtained at Brenau College in Gainesville, Georgia for Middle School Education. Post Graduate education included Adult Basic Education at Appalachian State in Boone, NC.

I have taught full time for twenty years in five states in the south including Georgia, North Carolina, Arkansas, Tennessee and Florida. Every grade from Pre-K to College level has been part of my varied career.

Horseback riding has been my joy for many years. I have owned up to five horses with my husband but now we are down to one. I teach beginning swimming lessons and horseback riding as well.
