EDUCATIONAL PHILOSOPHY
One’s past does not have to negatively impact his or her future. This goal can be fulfilled in a welcoming, encouraging, and consistent classroom environment, where teasing and bullying will not be tolerated. The teacher in this classroom will have high expectation of all of his or her students and will see the value in the background knowledge that the students bring into the classroom.
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND
I earned my Associate’s degree in English and Liberal Arts in 2005 from Los Angeles City College. In 2008, I earned my Bachelor’s degree in English, with a minor in Literature from California State University, Dominguez Hills. In 2013, I earned my Preliminary Single Subject Credential in English from California State University, Los Angeles. In June of this year, I passed the Comprehensive Examination for my Master’s degree in Education from California State University, Los Angeles.
TEACHING EXPERIENCE

EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
I am currently in two choirs, along with the young adult group, and women’s ministry at my church. I am also in a monthly book club, which I enjoy very much.
