Hands on experience using the concepts being taught is essential for students to understand and retain information. Each student is a unique person with unique experiences and understanding and should be treated as an individual.

I have a B.Sc. in Education and English as well as a Minor in History all from The University of Maine at Farmington. I have a Masters degree in Education with a focus on Curriculum Studies from Chapman University.

I have taught in both Maine and California. I’ve been lucky enough to teach English, English as a second language and AVID.

I am a mom of three young children. I have previously been vice president of a local mom’s club in my area.
