EDUCATIONAL PHILOSOPHY
Having been affiliated with professional educators all my life I have a deep respect for learning. Today I see too many falling away and/or being caught up in a torrent of lackluster educational curricula geared to non learners and the lowest common denominator. Private schools and tutoring facilities abound filling in and serving the truly hungry learners. However, the appetites of many others must be whetted as well; I want to find those potentials still foundering and searching.
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND
My employment at Stanford University School of Education provided much unofficial learning in Educational Psychology and Curriculum studies in research and development and teacher training. My family and friends were educators or scientists. The B.A. from CSU Sacramento came as an afterthought.
TEACHING EXPERIENCE
I was a substitute elementary school teacher for about 12 years, seeing how the curriculum was prepared, delivered, and most of all tested.
