Education is about the student, their success, and their growth. A teacher is meant to be the guide that uses professionalism, data, but most of all understanding in order to achieve academic goals.

I have been teaching while working on completing my Masters, which is focused on instructional technology. I completed my Bachelors cum laude, and consider myself a “forever student”. I love to focus on applications that not only engage students, but teach them as well.

While I have experience with grades K-8, most of my classroom time has been with my 6th and 7th graders, exploring the wonderful world of Language Arts.

I am a musician at heart; I play piano, flute, piccolo, cello, and guitar. I have helped with many drama productions, including musicals such as “Annie”. I have participated as a judge for school talent shows, as well as spelling bees. I believe that a well-rounded experience leads to a better understanding of ourselves as well as the world around us.
