My philosophy centers around finding engaging, relevant material that is specific to each individual learner. This allows students to gain a vested interest in their learning. My approach has helped to gain the respect and trust of my students, which in turn helps them to understand my investment in their growth, development and success.

I received a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and a Master’s Degree in Special Education. I am a certified teacher in the state of New Jersey.

I have taught for 8 years in classrooms ranging from pre-kindergarten all of the way through high school. Regular education students as well as exceptional children benefit from my approach to instruction.

I am an avid reader who spends most of my free time researching interesting reading materials specific to my students, researching strategies and methods to enhance instruction and home decorations.
