I believe that every student can succeed if the information is presented in a way that is meaningful engaging, and relevant to the learner. I believe that learning in the 21st century, using current technologies, can personalize the learning experience so that each student can find success and be proud of their achievements.

I received my a double major from the University of Windsor in Psychology and English Language/ Literature in 1992. A year later, I also received my B.A. Education from the same institution. I then went on to pursue my M.A. in English Literature and finally, a M.A. in Educational Technology. I consider myself a life-long learning and am always looking for different ways to increase my knowledge.

I am qualified to teach K-12, and am a certified teacher in three provinces. I have additional certification in Educational Technology, Special Education, and Literacy as well. I have been teaching for 15 years.

I participate in and coach both basketball and touch football. I am an avid hiker, biker, snowboarder, surfer, and kayaker. Being outdoors is what makes me happy. Unless it is freezing cold!
