As an educator, I want to stir an excitement in students to find what it is they are passionate about and follow that dream. I want to help them understand how fortunate they are to be given the gift of an education, and create a lifelong interest in learning. Finally, I believe it is of the utmost importance to teach students to be active and responsible members of not only the community they live in, but also of the world.

I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Criminology and Anthropology at University of Saint Mary’s.

My experience in China was the most rewarding so far. When students begin in grade 10, their English is quite poor, yet by the end of the year they are ready for the English 10 BC provincial exam. It was amazing to see their growth from grade 10 to 12.

I enjoy running, yoga and hiking. Currently, I take my one year old son hiking and it’s exciting to see him enjoying it like we do! I also read in my spare time and design jewellery.
