Adelanto District Curriculum Used in Our In-Home Tutoring Programs

Teaching and learning in Adelanto is based upon the curriculum devised and adopted by the state’s Department of Education. For Math and English/Language Arts, the Common Core State Standards are used. This curriculum describes what the students need to learn to build a strong foundation in the subjects.  The Language Arts curriculum describes how students will acquire the skills to read literature and informational texts, write for a range of purposes, and use other speaking and listening skills. The Math curriculum lays out a way by which students acquire necessary skills in numerical operations, algebraic operations, geometry and measurement, and other areas during their school years.

We currently cover the following Adelanto-area school district: Adelanto School District.
