- Life Learning - Completing tax forms properly can be confusing for some. Boaz High School students who have worked this year can get free assistance with their taxes! The Senior Volunteer Program of Boaz is available for assistance in completing the tax forms. This is a free service for all who need it!
- Special Olympics - There is a video online about the Marshall County Special Olympics. It contains information about the Special Olympics organization, what they stand for, the athletes, the events, and information about the actual competition. Making it visible to the broader public on YouTube helps the organization spread awareness about this rewarding event!
- Paver Project - The Boaz City School District has a foundation that is supporting the constructing of the multi-purpose facility. This large building is going to be used for athletics, productions, and a variety of other events. Building this facility is being funded by donations from the people of the community of Boaz, and the people have the opportunity to purchase a paver with a personal message engraved on it. The money used for these bricks will be used to help fund the project.
