Chalk Talk: The Importance of Healthy Eating for Learning

Parents who want to help their children be successful in school need to feed them breakfast each day. Growing bodies need to be fed healthy breakfast foods. When students eat a healthy breakfast, they are more likely to pay attention in school. Healthy breakfast choices for students include orange juice, cereal and milk, and fresh fruit. Yogurt, oatmeal, and toast with jam are other good choices, too. Students who do not eat a good breakfast may have difficulty paying attention in school, which can be easily avoided.
