Educating Our Parents: Understanding the Bolivar District Curriculum
The district promotes active participation and cooperation in learning by students, staff, parents and community. The hope is to develop meaningful opportunities for learning within a variety of settings in the classroom and within pre-professional settings. By providing support and encouragement that enables students to develop their unique talents, the school provides an environment that is conducive to developing a sense of self and independence before graduation.
The school maintains high expectations for students, both academically, socially, and in life. Students are expected to demonstrate honesty, self-discipline, accountability and integrity. The faculty and staff encourage this by modeling and maintaining an orderly and healthy environment in which all students are given opportunities to succeed. Support is given to students who need assistance in achieving the learning standards and enrichment opportunities are available for those who are seeking a greater challenge.

SchoolTutoring Academy Increased My SAT Score By 200 Points
My son’s math marks in high school have always been weak so I found it very beneficial that his ACT tutor worked on solidifying his fundamentals while prepping for the ACT.
SchoolTutoring Academy gave my daughter the confidence she needed to boost her SAT score Thank you!
SchoolTutoring has played an important role in improving our son’s confidence and attitude towards school. His grades have also improved steadily throughout the school year.
My daughter was able to improve her test scores after a few months of tutoring with SchoolTutoring. However, while raising test scores is great, the real payoff is in the self-confidence that she gained.
I just wanted to send a quick note to say thank-you! My son is very impressed with his tutor and looks forward to each session. What’s particularly amazing about this is our son has never really looked forward to math or school for that matter!
We are so happy with the results of your tutoring program and academic support. Homework time was such a stressful evening for the entire evening before we brought your tutors into our home. Thank you for all your help!
Our daughter, a first grader, struggled with basic reading and handwriting. When she began with SchoolTutoring she was almost a year behind her class. Within a year of being enrolled, she is reading above her grade level and has the confidence to match.

Chalk Talk: Rolling Applications
Rolling applications are a type of non-restricted college application. The difference between Rolling and Regular Decision has to do with when students can apply and how soon they’ll hear back. With Regular Decision, students usually don’t hear a decision until several weeks, maybe months, after the deadline. Rolling applications are different. First off, they don’t really have a deadline. The college may start accepting applications quite early, sometimes October or even earlier. Students are free to apply at any point during that time until applications close, which is usually quite late, maybe March or even later. The great thing about Rolling applications is that instead of making students wait until the reading period is over, colleges tend to respond within just a few weeks. Schools that offer Rolling applications tend not to be the most selective, but they also don’t tend to be the least; they usually fall somewhere in the middle of the spectrum, and the fact that they offer an application type that exists solely to benefit students speaks volumes as to their commitment to student success.
