From an early age, children should be encouraged to participate in art and music classes. These classes are not strictly educational – meaning they don’t teach children reading, writing, and ‘rithmatic – but they are still essential to a child’s development. Art and music classes encourage a student’s creativity and give him a place to express his true self. Art and music foster fine motor skills and teach life lesson such as diligence and dedications. Art and music classes give children the opportunity to explore new interests, which might shape their future development and personalities.
