The district is the only public district in the city, and includes one primary school, one elementary school, one intermediate school, one middle school, and one high school. Educating Our Parents: Understanding the Celina District Curriculum
As part of the financial literacy curriculum Celina students participate in a study of business education. A central component of the curriculum is business law. Students examine the various laws that govern business practices and protect consumers. State and federal laws that relate to consumer protection are identified, and the manner in which those laws protect against substandard services and goods is analyzed.
Celina’s fine arts curriculum includes a robust visual arts program. At the elementary level, students are introduced to basic artistic concepts. Students learn about various art forms, including painting, sculpture, and drawing, and utilize various materials and tools to create their own art. The role of emotional expression in art is explored, and kids learn how to tell a story through what they create. A wide range of subject matter is utilized for the creation of art as well. Students create works that reflect various feelings and emotions, and are representative of themselves, their friends, and family members.

- District Offers a Virtual Learning Academy - Celina City Schools offers a virtual learning academy at Celina High School. The academy was designed to offer students flexible credit-earning options in order to facilitate more timely graduation.
- Booster Club Provides Funding for Athletics - The Celina Athletic Booster Club offers many scholarship opportunities for high school athletes. The club awards six $500 scholarships and one $1,000 scholarship each year.
