They celebrated parties and festivals from various areas and cultures and enjoyed an all around informative and fun year in cultural and language awareness.

Chalk Talk: How to Memorize Information for Tests
There are many tricks and methods which can be helpful in memorizing information. Here are just a few of them. Memorizing can be made easier if you take the thing be memorized and break it down into manageable chunks. Try to divide it up into logical pieces. For example, a definition may have three parts, so divide it into those three. Some people find that memorizing numbers is easier than words. With that in mind, you may memorize the number of words used along with some sort of mnemonic device to remember what the words are. Mnemonic devices can be utilized in many ways. Sometimes you can utilize a name such as Roy G. Biv to remember the colors of the rainbow. Others are phrases where the first letter of each word represents the words or phrases you need to remember. You may also utilize songs, rhymes or rhythms to remember information.
