Reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills are a specific focus of courses that include literature, creative writing, and English. Collaboration with peers, presentations, and class discussions are emphasized.
Students can express themselves through art, music, and dance classes as well. These classes allow students to develop related techniques and skills, as well as increase awareness of artistic culture. Students gain an appreciation for artistic aesthetics, and learn how to use multiple mediums to create artwork. Students also examine artwork from around the world, analyzing the similarities and differences between pieces from various cultures and time periods. Students can also join the band or chorus and participate in performances. They can also find their artistic niche in visual art classes that span from architecture to pottery.
