This technology education begins in elementary school, where students acquire basic knowledge of technology, including how to utilize computers, tablets and the Internet to complete work, study and engage with other students. Chalk Talk: Art Benefits Academics

TStudents who take art classes are shown to gain a number of benefits that help them become better students. Studies indicate that the more art classes a student takes, the better they perform on the ACT test. Art students tend to be better readers, have better mathematical reasoning skills and have better attention spans than students who do not engage in art classes. What’s more, students who take multiple art classes demonstrate better vision, creativity and engagement in their other classes. While a strong arts education is vital in order for students to gain an appreciation for their own creativity and the creativity of others, it is also an important component in developing well-rounded, high-achieving students.
