Daly City District and Curriculum

Educating Our Parents: Understanding the Daly City District Curriculum
In Language Arts, students are instructed in reading literary and non-fiction texts, the writing process, and listening and speaking. In Math, the topics covered are numerical operations, algebraic operations, geometry and measurement, and data analysis. In the Sciences, the curriculum lays out the areas of earth science, biology, chemistry, physics, environmental science and technology and engineering. It is increasingly beccoming a graduation requirement for which students should be prepared.
- TerraNova High School AP Calculus - The AP Calculus Class at Terra Nova High School uses a Youtube channel to create fun and useful videos to teach mathematical concepts through song and dance. A great resource, and great viewing experience, for all in the school community.
- CEEP Wilderness School - The Jefferson High School District offers a unique experience for students interested in environmental issues and learning. The program offers a full-time semester-long program called the Community Environmental Educational Program for students in grades 10-12.
