Chalk Talk: Back to School Tips

Back to School is a busy time for most students so here are some helpful tips to make the most of those first few weeks. Make sure your students are prepared with their required school supplies. Teachers will provide you with a list of what is required so having the proper tools is important for your student’s success. Try to reuse binders and notebooks if they are still in good condition to avoid always have to buy new. If your child requires immunizations, make sure those are taken care of and provide the school with any required documentation. Failure to receive some immunizations could prevent your student from attending school. Communicate with your child and your child’s teacher and stay on top of all information that is coming home. If you can stay involved and in tune with what is happening at school, then your child will have a more successful school year!
