Educating Our Parents: Understanding the Del Mar District Curriculum

The curriculum in Math describes the skills involved in numeracy, algebra, geometry and data analysis each year. In the Sciences, students are instructed in earth science, biology, chemistry, physics, environmental science and technology. In Language Arts, the curriculum is focused on how to read literary and informational texts, write for a range of purposes, use a writing process, and to critically listen and speak.

As students choose to enter advanced or specially focused programs, the curriculum will describe the goals for the program and what students will know and be able to do upon completion of their coursework.
