- Parent Outreach - The Parent Teacher Student Organization at Duarte High School is responsible for many activities throughout the year. One new idea is the Adopt-a-Classroom program in which groups of parents get together to support activities and projects for a class.
- Extended Day Program - The school district is now offering before and after school arrangements for district students. The program allows students to participate in a number of unique learning activities and group experiences.
- Community-Service Learning - Community-Service Learning is an academic approach that joins students with civic engagement opportunities. These experiences allow students to gain planning skills and offers reflective thinking after the event.
