Chalk Talk: How Technology Is Used in Education

Many classrooms today are integrated with the latest technologies – Wi-Fi, Smart Boards, document cameras and the like. Having such technologies available for student use is hugely beneficial for their education. Technology is a great way to get kids actively involved in their learning, whether it’s using tablets to explore an online museum or using interactive Smart Board games to practice their math skills. Technology also enables students to obtain information on all kinds of subjects that might otherwise be unavailable in a traditional classroom setting. And perhaps best of all, using technology in school gives students valuable experience using the very tools and technologies they will be required to use later in life, be it in college, trade school or on the job.
