Chalk Talk: How Parents Can Get Involved in their Child's School

If you would like to get involved in your child's school there are many ways to do so. One way to get involved is to volunteer. Signing up to volunteer will give you the opportunity to help in your child's classroom and with school functions, such as festivals, picture days, celebrations, and more. Go to your child's school and sign up to be a volunteer or talk with your child's teacher. Most likely, the teacher will be thrilled to have you onboard, and will want to set you up on a weekly schedule. Either way, talking to the school and telling them that you are interested in helping will get you on your way to being an actively involved parent. Parent helpers are very much appreciated by all!
