Educating Our Parents: Understanding the Grove City District Curriculum
The district operates in such a way as to meet local and state requirements, requiring students to take standardized tests which can help teachers, students, and families understand where their child excels and where they fall behind. Armed with this information, students are able to get caught up if they are behind and be challenged if they are ahead. Students not only are prepared in these areas, they are encouraged to attend the local technical school if they wish to study a vocation.
Special needs students are all accommodated within the Grove City Area School District as well. Along with special needs students, Gifted students and English Language Learners are provided with helps and options for their success in school. In high school, career technical programs offer students hands-on and real world experiences in a range of professions, while ensuring students still achieve core academic requirements.

My daughter was able to improve her test scores after a few months of tutoring with SchoolTutoring. However, while raising test scores is great, the real payoff is in the self-confidence that she gained.
I just wanted to send a quick note to say thank-you! My son is very impressed with his tutor and looks forward to each session. What’s particularly amazing about this is our son has never really looked forward to math or school for that matter!
We are so happy with the results of your tutoring program and academic support. Homework time was such a stressful evening for the entire evening before we brought your tutors into our home. Thank you for all your help!

Chalk Talk: How to Get Enough Rest During the School Year
With so many activities piled on top of homework, added to your work load or chores you are already required to do, getting enough rest may go to the back burner in order of importance. Before you leave the pot simmering there, take another look at your schedule. Did you know that students who get enough rest are able to do markedly better in their school and extracurricular activities than those who do not? There are many reasons for this including the fact that you are able to concentrate better, have a better mood, and over-all perform better. That being said, take the time to look at your schedule again. Instead of putting off sleep, what are some other things you can do? Try prioritizing your school time. For example, instead of talking and laughing during lunch, what if you made it into a study session three days a week? Utilize travel time as well. Listen to podcasts correlating to your studies, memorize test material, or use that time in other ways to maximize your homework time.
