Educating Our Parents: Understanding the Hamilton District Curriculum

Teachers use a great deal of differentiated teaching practices in the delivery of instruction. Students receive both direct instruction and opportunities to guide their own learning. Subjects become increasingly advanced and integrated with relevant experiences as students advance in their studies.

Hamilton Schools use a great deal of differentiated teaching practices in the delivery of instruction. In history, the students learn a variety of topics from civics to citizenship. The children begin learning about character development in the early years and progress into more in-depth learning strands in the area of social studies. The instructors follow the licensed curriculum, and use the most recent methods of teaching techniques. Hamilton schools and the schools of Marion County are determined to make the students the best citizens they can be!
