Hialeah Area District Curriculum We Follow

Hialeah’s schools have a curriculum that aligns itself with Next Generation Sunshine State Standards (NGSSS). These standards provide curriculum flexibility in all schools in the Miami-Dade School District. Grade-level expectations have been included in the standards for subject areas that include Language, Mathematics, Science, Arts, and Social Studies. The expectations are the basis for state assessments for grade levels 3-10. In 1973, ground-breaking choice programs/schools were federally supplemented by the Voluntary Public School Choice Grant (I Choose!) and the Magnet Schools Assistance Program. Currently the School Choice Parental Options office oversees more than 340 choice programs in over 100 schools.

We currently cover the following Davie-area school districts: Miami-Dade County School District.
