We currently cover the following Hollister-area school district: Hollister School District.

Educating Our Parents: Understanding the Hollister District Curriculum

In Math, the subject is organized around numerical operations, algebraic operations, geometry and measurement, and data analysis. In the Sciences, the curriculum details the expectations within earth science, biology, chemistry, physics, environmental science, and technology and engineering. In Language Arts, the content areas covered are reading literary and non-fiction texts, the writing process, and listening and speaking.

By laying out a curriculum that builds skills yearly, students deepen their content area knowledge each year and develop a broader range of higher order thinking skills. Critical thought, analysis, reasoning and problem solving are among the ways of thinking that students adapt to.
