Chalk Talk: Options for Students Who Love Nature
College is not always the immediate best choice for some young adults when they graduate high school. For some, working in a field and learning more about career opportunities helps solidify what they want to do in college later. Students who love nature might do better by looking into the Student Conservation Association. Through this organization students are provided housing, health insurance and travel expenses. They receive an allowance and once they have completed their time with this organization they can receive an education award. There are over thirty fields that students that choose this route can aim for. They could give tours or work as members of the national parks. They could also work in the conservation field and so much more.
