Keeping Informed: Recent Jeffersontown Educational News

  • Environmental Group - The Environmental Group at Jeffersontown High is committed to making this world the best place it can be. This year they are planting a roof- top garden as a project. They also help keep the parks clean and participate in river clean-ups. They are trying to make the world a better place one project at a time.
  • Scholastic Book Fair - The Scholastic Book Fair is held every year at Jeffersontown Elementary School. The book fair is an event that is open during school and during the parent-teacher conferences periods. It’s a great fundraiser and opportunity to support the school
  • Robotics Club - The Jeffersontown Robotics Club is enjoying great success. Local businesses are being solicited to help with expenses of running the club and travel for its members. The club is trying to encourage youth to build their technology skills. Some students are building robots for entry in the First Robotics Competition for high school students
