Cobb Counties Social Studies program is committed to guaranteeing that all students possess literacy skills in History, Geography, Politics, and Economics. Foundations for these areas are put in place during Kindergarten by learning about patriotism and holidays that we celebrate each year. Students learn about both local and global current issues, and varying cultural beliefs. Continuing throughout high school, Social Studies classes involve students evaluating multi-dimensional social, political, economic, cultural, and ethical issues.
The Cobb County School District tries to provide experience-based curriculum which will challenge their students, by helping them cultivate expertise in skills and ideas across all subject areas by emphasizing problem-solving stratagems. Chalk Talk: Personal, Personality Perspective
There are many different categories for personalities the main types are Intrapersonal, Interpersonal, Introvert, and Extravert. A person that is Introverted will lean toward intrapersonal actions. What does this mean? Introverted people choose to be by themselves, they tend to internalize struggles and conflict and avoid public and group activities. When they are working on assignments they will often need complete seclusion and they will participate in intrapersonal communication; whereby they talk through problems or ideas in their own head instead of seeking out someone to talk with. The opposite is the Extrovert who will be the center of attention and will easily make friends and share everything they think and feel. These kids express themselves through interpersonal communication and need to talk and will talk to everyone about everything.
