- New Offerings - Students at Lakeside High School have an interesting new Advanced Placement course in 3-D art and design. For students interested in math, technology and the arts, this class should have quite a draw.
- GEMS - One program that is operating in the middle school is the GEMS program - this is inteneded to help the teaching of math and science through technology. This program offers a great access point to learning subjects that challenge students to excel.
- WatchDogs - The district has recently started a new initiative called WatchDogs. This is a group for fathers, step-fathers, uncles, grandpa's or other father figures to participate in the educational community. Sounds like fun for the kids!
