Chalk Talk: How To Choose a College

There are a few thousand 4-year colleges in the country, and narrowing them down to a manageable list can be difficult. A quick way to narrow it down is to specify what location you’d prefer, and which you absolutely don’t want, not only location in a particular part of the country, but whether you’d prefer a rural or an urban campus or something in between. After that, cost can be a good way to eliminate potential colleges. These are important things to consider, but when it comes to really picking the right college, there are a few details that really should be at the top of your list. The quality of a particular program you want to enter is important, but so is class size, faculty to student ratio, and support services.
