Chalk Talk: Logical/Mathematical Intelligence

Among the various ways that children learn is the logical and mathematical intelligence method. The theory of multiple intelligences was arrived at by Howard Gardner who recognized a range of different intelligence types that children bring to bear on learning. Children that are strong in this area are able to look at problems or situations and solve them. They, generally, have high reasoning ability and confidence. When confronted with a problem which they want to solve, these children are able to think of an algorithm that can be used to solve it. If they do not have one at hand, they are able to try various ways to work it out. They are able to explore, conjecture and reason logically and they can communicate to others using mathematical or logic skills.
