Chalk Talk: College Application Tips

Applying to college can be a daunting task and many students fail to do their homework on college application before it is too late. Thinking about college should start before your senior year. Don’t make the mistake of waiting until the last minute, as this will only create panic and anxiety. Reach out to your guidance counselor for advice and guidance! Be aware of each school’s entrance requirements and follow through with each of them. Also make sure that any transcripts or letters of recommendation are being sent on your behalf as well because colleges expect you to have a completed application when it comes decision-making time. Give yourself time to pick the school that seems like a good fit for you. Colleges have a variety of activities and clubs so be sure to apply to locations that meet your interests and needs.
