Chalk Talk: The Importance of Breakfast

Regardless of the morning time crunch, don't let breakfast fall through the cracks, it is the more important meal of the day. When your child wakes up, their body has been resting and fasting for 6-8 hours on average. During that time the metabolism has slowed down. Eating breakfast can help rev your child's engine back up and give them energy that lasts throughout the day. Not only will your child be less hungry throughout their school hours, but eating breakfast may also help them concentrate and perform better.
