Chalk Talk: Virtual vs. Face-to-Face Tutoring, Which Should I Choose?

You have made the decision to find a tutor for your child. But which type of tutoring would best suit your child’s needs? There are some factors for you to consider when deciding whether your child would do best with online or face-to-face tutoring. For example, does your child enjoy working on the computer? Is he comfortable using the mouse and keyboard? He doesn’t have to be a speedy typist, but he shouldn’t feel hampered by trying to find the letters on the keyboard, either. Can your child sit for the prescribed amount of time? Do you have a reliable Internet connection? If, after thinking about these factors, you feel that these factors are agreeable in your child’s favor, an online program may be an option worthy of consideration for your child to have tutoring.
