Plymouth District and Curriculum

Students in Plymouth attend the Wayzata Public Schools. The curriculum explains what the district expects and what students need to do to do well in school and to prepare for the future. Small class sizes, focused academic programs, and research-based curricula build a strong foundation of academic excellence for all students. The district is also committed to promoting individual inquiry and exploration, and as a result offers many extracurricular activities and groups in which students can participate.

We currently cover the following Plymouth-area school district: Wayzata Public Schools.

Educating Our Parents: Understanding the Plymouth District Curriculum

In Plymouth, not only do the educators focus on lifelong learning, but they also work hard to improve their students’ performance on the various standardized tests that their students must take. We are familiar with these tests, such as the MCA II, ACT and MAP, and we can help your child to excel.

You see, this is what we do. We work with the standards set forth by your town or district to make sure that your child is receiving instruction that will help in his or her daily school life. From the moment he or she enters kindergarten to the moment he or she holds that high school diploma, we are there to back up the town in terms of Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies and technological innovation. By doing so, we are also supporting lifelong learning and success.

Chalk Talk: How to Choose a Tutor

Many students are feeling more pressure than ever to succeed in school and in the global community at large. One way to help them is to find a tutor that can assist with such goals. How do you choose one, though? The first and most important aspect of any tutoring company is to find out if that tutor follows your town and district's curriculum and make sure they stick to what your child is already learning in school. Also, read testimonials about the tutoring service and make sure that your child has an easy rapport with the specific tutor so that he or she feels comfortable working with the tutor for possible extended periods of time.
