Educating Our Parents: Understanding the Rancho Mirage District Curriculum

The content of Math courses cover numeracy, algebra, geometry and data analysis each year. In the Sciences, the curriculum describes the skills in earth science, biology, chemistry, physics, environmental science and technology.  The curriculum for Language Arts organizes its foundational skills around reading literary and informational texts, writing for a range of purposes, using a writing process, and listening and speaking with critical thinking skills.

All core subjects help students to develop critical thinking skills like analysis, problem-solving and process-oriented thinking. This foundation prepares students for advanced studies and professional pursuits.
