Educating Our Parents: Understanding the Rimouski District Curriculum

Schools is Rimouski use curriculum developed by the Department of Education which encompasses best instructional practices nationally and internationally. The curriculum cover all areas of education - elementary and secondary, religious, intercultural, adult and special education and sets the target for learning across the subject areas.

In all these areas, the curriculum describes what it is that students are expected to learn within their subjects. These expectations represent the standards of learning that bring about proficiency in the subject matter and lay the foundation for higher-order conceptual and critical thinking skills.
