Chalk Talk: The Importance of Routine for Young Students

Human beings fear the unknown; this is especially true for little human beings. Our little ones are still trying to find their place in the world and while they are looking, it is important that we as parents help them by creating stability and comfort in their lives. One way to help is by establishing routines and schedules. Kids need organization and need to know what is coming next, so to establish schedules and routines early on will help your child develop good habits and good behavior. These regular, established schedules and routines will decrease any anxiety and stress that your child may feel because they will know what to expect and what will come next. Soon your little one will be cleaning up after themselves, getting their teeth brushed and getting pajamas on - because that is the routine you have established and your child can do it all themselves!
