Educating Our Parents: Understanding the San Dimas District Curriculum

In Language Arts, the goal is to impart the skills of critically reading, writing, listening and speaking. These broad areas are delineated through grade-level expectations for strategies for vocabulary development, using a writing process and the fine points of writing for purposes such as persuasion, exposition and creative writing.

Students move towards their high school experience prepared to take on interdisciplinary and even college level work through the foundation of learning strategies, universal knowledge and skills to help them problem-solve and comprehend new information all of which are detailed at the appropriate grade level in the curricular framework.

Contact our Academic Directors Today at 1-877-545-7737 to Discuss your Child's Strengths and Areas for Improvement.
