  • Pink Shirts– Students across Canada are demonstrating amazing initiative with Pink Shirt Day. In Sherbrooke, this event happens at the end of February and is meant to raise awareness about bullying in schools. Thousands of students don pink shirts as a show of unity and support on this issue. The shirts are becoming a powerful message that can be used throughout the year.
  • Blended Learning- The Eastern Township School Board is offering a Global Learning Institute that offers “blended learning.” This is an effort to integrate next generation technologies with traditional teaching techniques. This is offered to students in the district and across the world.
  • Enhanced Learning Strategy– This is a project designed to review the needs for iPads, Netbooks and Laptops during instruction. As technology is continually integrated into the schools, review of its efficacy is ongoing.
