Chalk Talk: Teaching Critical Thinking Skills

Beginning at an early age, students need to be taught on how to think. With our technological society and television and video games, it is very easy for children to fall prey to not having to think on their own, as thinking is already done for them in many aspects of their lives. However, critical thinking is crucial in life; throughout school, college, and the work force. Teachers must teach children how to discover the unknown on their own and how to solve problems by working them out independently to ensure lifelong success for the students.
