Educating Our Parents: Understanding the Village Green-Green Ridge District Curriculum
Students in the Penn-Delco School District learn using interactive iPads for some of their classes. With technology becoming such an important aspect of our society, this is helping students prepare for the future while providing education tools and experiences that they otherwise would not have access to. Introduction to core math and literacy topics start in the earliest years and students build on their skills year by year. Students use iPads to do class reading and to conduct research for many classes including English, math, and science.
At Chichester School District also provides a quality education for their students, providing experiences and learning activities that prepare them for college or career. High school students are offered many electives which will prepare them for their after high school goals. Beyond this, students are encouraged to take more advanced courses as well as languages and more specific recommendations for college preparedness.

My daughter was able to improve her test scores after a few months of tutoring with SchoolTutoring. However, while raising test scores is great, the real payoff is in the self-confidence that she gained.
I just wanted to send a quick note to say thank-you! My son is very impressed with his tutor and looks forward to each session. What’s particularly amazing about this is our son has never really looked forward to math or school for that matter!
We are so happy with the results of your tutoring program and academic support. Homework time was such a stressful evening for the entire evening before we brought your tutors into our home. Thank you for all your help!

Chalk Talk: How Students Can Get a Good Night’s Sleep
It can be difficult to get a good night’s sleep, especially during high school when demands are higher both socially and academically and your body clock tells you to stay up late. There are things you can do to help your body fall back in line. First of all, make sure you prioritize your time during the day so that you can go to bed at a decent hour. 10 or 11 is better than 12 or 1. In order to let your body know it’s time to sleep, turn off LED type screens such as TVs, cell phones, iPads and other such devices. These stimulate instead of relaxing your brain for sleep. Develop a routine before bed. Maybe you can read a pleasant, though not over stimulating book or take a warm bath or shower. These things will help your body slow down for sleep. Also, dim lights so that your eyes adjust to a more obscure environment and your brain begins to go into sleep mode.
